Stem Cell Clinic Says It Successfully Treats Macular Degeneration
A network of stem cell treatment facilities outside the United States says it has successfully treated wet macular degeneration. Stem Cells For Hope (SCFH) provides stem cell treatments and regenerative stem cell transplantation to patients, and so far claims to have used stem cell therapy to treat multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and other conditions. Their most recent success, they say, involves a 74-year-old Kentucky woman diagnosed with the wet version of macular degeneration in 2002. “The clinics and hospitals that we have on our network have 15-18 years of experience in treating human patients with stem cells,” says Peter K. Sidorenko.
