Blind Woman’s Family Raising Money For China Stem Cell Trip
The family of Brandi Benger, legally blind since birth because of a congenital disease known as optic nerve hypoplasia, is trying to raise $36,000 to pay for a trip to a Chinese clinic for eight stem cell treatments. Beike Biotech in Shenzhen, China, will provide the stem cells, which are derived from human umbilical cords, for the 35-day treatment period. According to Brandi, at least 90 percent of the 40 people who have received the Chinese stem cell treatments for her condition have experienced improved vision. “I have a really good feeling about it,” Benger said. “I’m going to get there one way or the other.”

I too was “accepted” for stem cell treatment by Baki Biotech 2 years ago. I was given the condition that I had to have a cataract removed first. That surgery was catastrophic to remaining vision and has left me only seeing a blur of light with no difinition of any kind. I can only tell the differentce between daylight and nightime now. Because of this of this devesatating blow, my family support disintegrated and since I am am disabled my chances of raising money and traveling abroad with a child and sick wife are nearly impossible. Researchers right here in the US opposed my aspirations and weere very unsupportative. Before mmy journey even took off, it crashhed and burned and I am expected now to just forget about it and I’m in a much worse position than when I started. My only contact was through a e-list called Stem Cells China and this woman called Nurse Kerschner which my wife corresponded with. I no longer have any contact with anyone and am completely isolated. Those I sought for support withheld it on the basis that there are no peer review articles to authenticate and coument breakthrough medical tretments like this and I was told frankly that it was a frauud. Despite this, other countries, including several modern Western ones have started their own treatment programs pretty much identical to what I was told about in in China. it seems this is going to be a huge emerging ndustry and people are fighting for control of it, at our cost. My website was going to be http://www.fortheloveofmyhusband.com. This halted as fast as it started. I would like to know how this works out for you. You should know that the UK, Germany, Israel and several other countries with good controls are also conducting this same kind of treatment, but knowledge of this is actively suppresed i the US. Please contact me if you have sucess. It would be nice to have hope. ghost_inside@msn.com
